Much Needed Update...

 Well as most of you can see my blog is in need of some major updating!! Little Ava Grace was born Dec. 8th at 12:01am, she weighed 7lbs 2oz, and was 19.5in long. Boy has she grown since then!! She is just at 12lbs and is somewhere around 23in long! She is smiling ALL the time and on the verge of giggling... she is just beginning to really interact with some of her toys! I love watching her facial expressions when she lays under her mobil or sits in her farm rocker (rocking chair with farm animal toys dangling over head). She is really getting active now too, she kicks her little chubbie legs and pushes with them whenever she can. She holds her head up pretty well now and is nearly rolling over! It is truely amazing to watch her from day to day and see how fast she is growing.

Nick is doing great as a Dad! He is already wrapped around those cute little fingers... by the way she has his crooked pinkies. His basketball season is over now, his Jr. High boys finished 4th in the conference. I am very proud of him, you can tell the boys really look up to him. They love just talking to him and learning all they can from him... sometimes at basketball games the boys would even come and sit with Ava and I to ask me questions about Nick (and to tell me stories about things in practice).   Anyway, his job here in Gentry seems to be going very well. We are planning on sticking around awhile I think...

This coming week is my last at home until summer break!! I am very sad about going back to work! I really don't want to leave Ava, but I know God has everything under control. I am just so thankful that Crissy and Leslie are going to be taking care of my little girl. I really would be having a tough time if she were going to a day care!! Speaking of Crissy she is going to be having another baby sometime during the first of August! I am so excited! They should find out what they are having in the next week or two. Being pregnant...

Hey so it's been a while!! To day the least! Baby Ava is due the 7th of December and I am counting the weeks!! School is good... my kids seem like great kids so far! However I am really missing some of my students that left...  Anyway, ALOT has changed over the summer... Nick is teaching/coaching in Gentry, we now live in Gentry, and Nick is no longer the Youth Minister at Lakeside... It is still really weird to think about sometimes. I guess maybe because so much changed so fast. God is in control though! LBC has just hired a new youth guy and Nick's job is raelly going well. Oh and we bought a house. Well our lives have certainly changed, but our Heavenly Father hasn't and is proving over and over again that His ways may not be understandable but they are always the best. Well I better go, I need to clean up the house. Love you all... hope to stay in touch a little more!

Can we say ready for Spring Break!!! Oh my gosh I am ready! My week really has been insane! I don't know what it is... the other art teacher here at Spring Hill said it was because of the full moon! (hahahaha) Anyway it has been a crazy week. Church Wednesday night was a little crazy too, but oh well. So I think our plans to go camping may be canceled because of the weather!! :( I am so sad because I really wanted to go! But with highs in the 40's I would freeze!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nick said something about going farther south... we'll see. Anyway I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the break that is if you are having one. I'll talk to guys later!

Well only 2.5 days left until spring break!! I am so ready for the break! It seems like I have been running on empty for way to long and I am in danger of shutting down! However I must say that my kids at school have been ANGELS!! I don't know whats happened but all of the sudden they aer just GREAT! Right now we are working on some 3D letters... each child is building their own initials. They are pretty cool.

Well I heard some bad news this week... besides all the tornado damage that happened to so many of my kids homes... talk about sad!! I just can't imagine what it would be like to go sleep in your own private bedroom and then to wake up and find that you are no even in a  house much less your bedroom! Well the other ad news is that the teacher that was going to be job sharing with me next year has decided not to. So I don't know what I am going to do!!! I am strangely calm about it, but it is just aggravating. I know God has a perfect plan for my life and that it will all work out, I just have no idea how! I guess thats the fun part... My sister Crissy told me this morning that I should be excited because even though I don't know what yet God is going to do something awesome in my life over the next few months! You are totally right sis and I appreciate it! I just need to keep trusting in my Saviour and not worry about it I guess.

So DNOW went pretty well! I loved it because my adorable neice Addy got to visit me!! She is so sweet, at one point Manda had her giggling so loud... makes my smile just think of the sweet sound! Hahaha Anyway I think Nick is releaved that the weekend it over... he was excited about don't get me wrong, but he was under alot of pressure too! But I thought as a whole the weekend was great!
